Report someone missing with their photograph, so a stranger who finds them in Nepal can recognise them and tell you where they are.

The desk that can act depends on which side of the border they reached. The flood hit the crossing itself, so Nepal and China are running separate responses. If your person was last seen at immigration, say so explicitly and ask your ministry to confirm the case has been raised with both governments — in writing.

Contacts marked verify come from general knowledge rather than this event's advisories. Confirm on the government's own page before relying on them — hotlines rotate during a response.
